Re: Coolers - Keeping food cool
I think for the most part, no one on this board was seriously in the market for a Yeti. Even then, Yeti kinda burned some bridges badly over the last few years, and rather than staying at the bleeding edge of innovation, decided to loop back and drop lawsuits on it's competition. When that didn't wo...

Re: Baofeng is getting closer to making the perfect radio
I fully expect it will be a while before Baofeng makes the perfect radio, but with each iteration they get closer. I don't see even the most die-hard mot fanbois pining over the HT-600, but at at time, that was a very high end radio. Sure that APX-8000 looks awesome, but I don't have $8k for it. Usu...

Re: '90 Jeep XJ Fuel Injection Problems
So far I haven't seen any leaking, but that's neither here nor there, this was quite literally a field fix I did between 1 and 2am. I have ordered new Fuel Injectors, they should be here next week. I do happen to carry 3 fire extinguishers in my vehicle.

'90 Jeep XJ Fuel Injection Problems
So for those of you who noticed and those who didn't, I haven't been driving my normal DD to Taco Tuesday (I think I did last week, but not this week). Well, the jeep's been running like ass for about the last week, and got down and started debugging. Symptom: Missing, low idle, maybe misfire, fuel ...
Re: E-track
Not specifically, but this looks like the same stuff they put in semi-trucks to hold stuff in place. It also looks to be galvanized, so I don't think you want to weld it, but you could probably bolt it down.

Re: DMRPC Cleanup May 5
You can e-mail the club secretary, and confirm. Orientation dates are not a "hard set" you just need to attend one, they take your name down. What you may wish to do is inform them you will be there on the 5th, and ask to have your membership packet available on that day. Also, it looks like I'm rid...

Team Rubicon Watches
Jayen was asking me about the team rubicon watches a few weeks ago, I finally had some time to sit down and look at their offerings: http://minutemanwatches.com/collection/category/current-models The question that came up was what movements were used (I think we were looking at this entirely on a ph...

Re: Baofeng is getting closer to making the perfect radio
I don't disagree but p25 comes with a relatively high cost as such it's really kind of hard to find a budget radio that includes p25 and or encryption. Also if you think about it most ham gear that you're paying for to $500 for doesn't have p25 or encryption and it never ever will so if we're talkin...

Re: Tapatalk is up
Tapatalk and it's advertisements really kinda chapped my ass. As I said in e-mail, tapatalk really seems to be devoted to a means of driving ad revenue to a site, since we have a limited (closed) user base, the amount of effort required to actually set the site up for receiving ad revenue would be a...

lol, I also e-mailed him, asking pretty much the opposite question.
